Gregor Trela — Media & digital strategist · Zürich

Inside media since 2008. Working on what comes next.

I’ve spent my career on both sides of the media market — planning and strategy at OMD, Zenith, MediaCom, Hearts & Science and Wavemaker, AdTech at YOC — for brands like ALDI Suisse, Credit Suisse and Coca-Cola. GT Digital is my independent practice: strategic advisory now, and a lab for what media becomes next.

04 — From the Lab

Experiment 01 · Live

Media planning that shows its working.

A planner that takes a brief, allocates the budget across twelve channels, estimates net reach and frequency against the real Swiss audience — and then challenges its own plan before a human signs it off.

The workflow

  1. Client brief
  2. Brief parsing
  3. Strategy
  4. Budget allocation
  5. Evaluation
  6. Human approval Always

What it taught me

A plan earns trust when its benchmarks, formulas and limits are visible — and editable.

05 — Perspective

Technology is the tool. Judgement is the differentiator.

Six theses on media, technology and the strategist’s job — from allocation and incentives to agents that act only behind approval gates.

Privacy

This website sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics or tracking and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and all other files are served from this server.

The site is hosted by Simply.com. To deliver it securely, the server records technical access data — such as IP address, time and requested page — in log files, and its firewall may set a short-lived technical cookie to tell visitors from bots. I do not use this data to analyse visitors.

Changes you make to the assumptions in the Lab’s media planner are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they survive a reload. Nothing is sent to a server; “Reset benchmarks” deletes them.
